Privacy Policy

Avyune is a personal memory and reminder service operated by Ihsan Seyyah, Andromeda Building C2, Barbaros Mahallesi, Ataşehir, İstanbul, Türkiye. For privacy requests contact privacy@avyune.com.

Data we process

We process your email address, optional display name, timezone, the thoughts and notes you submit, derived memories and relationships, conversation history, reminder schedules, device push tokens, notification attempts, and subscription status. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes.

If you use voice input, a short recording is uploaded for transcription and discarded after transcription; the resulting text is retained like typed content. Speech output is generated on your device.

If you explicitly request web research, only that search query is sent to the configured search provider (search provider not configured). Your account id, email, stored loops and learned profile are not included. Source results are not stored as facts about you.

Purpose and legal basis

Account and memory data are processed to provide the service you request. Security and minimal diagnostic records are processed for our legitimate interest in operating a reliable service. Microphone and notification access are optional and controlled through your device settings.

Processors and transfers

Data is hosted by a local server operated by Ihsan Seyyah in Türkiye. Model processing: open-weight models (Qwen3 for language, Whisper for speech) running on that same server; no text or audio is sent to a third-party AI provider. Push notification text passes through Expo and Apple or Google. Subscription status passes through Apple or Google and RevenueCat. International transfers rely on direct collection by the operator in Türkiye; service providers outside Türkiye (Apple, Google, Expo, RevenueCat) receive only what each needs, under their own data processing terms. We do not sell data, show ads, or use tracking SDKs.

Retention and your choices

Your content remains while your account exists. Operational logs are retained for up to 30 days. In the app you can inspect and remove individual memories, export your data, disable personalisation, and permanently delete your account and associated data.

You may also use the account deletion page or contact privacy@avyune.com. You may exercise applicable KVKK and GDPR rights and complain to your competent data-protection authority.

Security and children

Traffic is encrypted in transit and application secrets remain server-side. Avyune is not directed to children under 13.
